Readers’ Services Division
The Readers’ Services Division is responsible for:
- maintenance of reading environment inside and outside the library, including the self-learning areas on campus;
- catalog and circulation service, including borrow, reserve and return items and short loan;
- use of multimedia materials, newspapers and periodicals;
- finding books and periodicals for readers;
- interlibrary loan and document delivery;
- reader consulting;
- online public retrieval area;
- computers, photocopying, scanning and printing; and
- reading promotion activities.

The Acquisition and Collection Division is responsible for:

Committee
There are two committees in the OLIS –“Information Security Committee” and “Library Committee”. Both are constituted by related administrative staff, faculty members and student representatives from the university.
The Information Security Committee is chaired by vice president and responsible for affairs related to the ISMS (Information Security Management System), including coordinating resources, revising information security policy, and so on. The committee meeting should be held at least once per year.
The Library Committee is chaired by the OLIS dean and responsible for affairs related to the functioning of the library, including examining major planning and annual library’s development policies, adopting purchasing items, updating regulations, advising library administration, and so on. The committee meeting should be held every semester.
