說明：
一、HiCOS 卡片管理工具係各應用系統使用自然人憑證、工商憑證及政府機關憑證等 IC 卡進行簽章與加解密驗證之必要元件。
二、為優化憑證使用體驗並提升系統運作安全，請貴機關同仁至政府憑證入口網（https://gov.tw/8WF），依照網頁說明下載並安裝最新版HiCOS卡片管理工具。

說明： 請依下列步驟完成版本更新：
一、版本檢測：請先至「HiCOS 版本檢測網站」確認目前安裝之版本是否需進行升級。<<註：若您未安裝客戶端程式或未啟動服務，即可忽略此封郵件。>>
二、更新作業程序：如需升級HiCOS，請務必先移除舊版再安裝新版，步驟如下：
移除舊版程式：
請至電腦「控制台」移除以下兩個程式：「HiCOS PKI Smart Card」及「跨平台網頁元件」。
移除完成後，請務必重新啟動電腦。
下載並安裝新版：
請至HiCOS卡片管理工具下載下載最新版，並將檔案解壓縮。
請以「系統管理員身分」執行安裝程式。
安裝完成後，請再次重新啟動電腦以套用設定。
注意事項：配合微軟終止支援舊版OS，新版HiCOS卡片管理元件僅支援作業環境Win 10/11，且不向下相容。
Step 1: Check Your Version (版本檢測)
Visit the HiCOS Version Check Website to see if your version is up to date.
(Note: If you have not installed the client software or do not use this service, please disregard this email.)
Step 2: Uninstall Old Versions (移除舊版)
Important: You must remove the old software first.
Open Control Panel (控制台) > Programs and Features (程式與功能).
Uninstall these two programs:
1. HiCOS PKI Smart Card
2. Cross-Platform Web Component (跨平台網頁元件)
Restart (重新啟動) your computer.
Step 3: Download & Install the New Version (下載及安裝新版)
Download: Get the latest version from the GCA Portal and extract the file.
Install: Right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator" (以系統管理員身分執行).
Restart (重新啟動) your computer again to apply settings.
⚠️ Critical Notes (注意事項)
Compatibility: Only supports Windows 10 / 11. It will not work on older versions.
