- Contains academic journals from 111 countries and regions (including 14,591 SCIE journals, 7,559 SSCI journals, and 3,368 AHCI journals)
- 618 journals have been awarded the Journal Impact Factor (JIF) for the first time
- Journal Impact Factor (JIF) excludes citations and quotes from retracted articles from the numerator to prevent them from affecting the JIF value (retracted articles are still counted in the denominator). This policy of improving research transparency affects the JIF values of only 1% of journals.
